The turtle nest transport captured the imagination of Americans young and old. FedEx took a leading role, donating the services of its employees, its trucks and its knowledge of how best to transport delicate packages safely. FedEx trucked 28,568 sea turtle eggs from the pick-up locations in Alabama and Florida to the incubation facility at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL Passionate truck drivers spoke about how important is was for them to take part in the rescue mission.
