Adhereing Satellite Tag to Shortfin Mako Shark

This adult mako shark was caught during the SWFSC's Juvenile Shark Survey in 2007. You can see the satellite tag attached to the dorsal fin. When the antenna breaks the surface the tag wlil transmit data.
