Channa Comer, a high school science teacher at the Urban Assembly Academy of History and Citizenship for Young Men, in the Bronx, NY, was aboard R/V Hugh R. Sharp for 11 days in May while scientists conducted fisheries research on sea scallops in northeastern waters.
