Maureen Anderson, a science and health teacher at New Horizons Middle School - MS442 in Brooklyn, NY, is aboard NOAA Ship Oregon II for 16 days in July and August while scientists conduct snapper and shark longline surveys in the Gulf of Mexico and southeastern Atlantic.
