As part of the dolphin health assessment in Barataria Bay, LA, researchers take a blood sample from a resident dolphin. This study is part of the Natural Resource Damage Assessment for the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and authorized by Scientific Research Permit No. 932-1905-MA-009526.
