Karen Rasmussen, a third and fourth grade teacher at Ocean Shores Elementary School in Ocean Shores, WA, was aboard R/V Tatoosh for 11 days in June and July while scientists conducted ecosystem surveys in the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary off the coast of Washington.
