Allan Phipps, Science teacher at South Plantation High School in Plantation, FL was aboard NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson while scientists conducted Fisheries research off the coast of Alaska. Three styrofoam cups that went 500 meters deep in the Bering Sea! These cups were originally the size of the undecorated white styrofoam cup in the background.
