Tips for getting the best information possible:
Call us first. We are happy to connect you with our experts as needed. Whenever possible, we'll help you get the information you need in time to meet your deadline. We take pride in being responsive.
When you call for specific information, also tell us what your story is about. Fisheries issues can be complex, and there's often useful information we can provide, whether it's context, history, fact-checking, or an interview that adds balance and depth to your coverage.
When interviewing a NOAA expert, bear in mind the scope of that person's job. If your questions are best answered by a different expert, we'll be glad to help you find the right person.
