Cooperative Enforcement Program Intern position

Becoming an OLE Agent or OfficerWHAT:

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service’s (NOAA Fisheries), Office for Law Enforcement periodically opens internships. These positions are at our Headquarters office in Silver Spring, MD. (Red line - Silver Spring Metro stop)

REQUIREMENTS:

U.S. Citizenship
Undergraduate / Graduate student status
Ability to pass Interim Security Screening
Full time - 40 hrs / Part-time – 16-20 hrs

INTERNSHIP GEARED TOWARDS:

Students majoring in: Criminal Justice, Wildlife Management or Environmental Sciences

SKILLS NEEDED:

BACKGROUND:

Intern will review reports and compile previous and current joint enforcement agreement statistics;
Intern will review reports and compile previous and current joint enforcement agreement statistics;
Intern will assist in the development of reports that document program activity;
Intern may be required to perform administrative assistant duties from time to time, including; answering phones, collecting and checking mail, and filing.

LOGISTICS:

Fall & Spring – Unpaid (Volunteer / Part-Time)
Summer – Paid (Full-Time)
