Highly Migratory Species Research Database

The HMS Management Division has developed the HMS Research Database to catalog scientific articles relating to HMS. To access the database you can download it to your computer by clicking the button below (you need to download the database to your computer in order to be able to use it). You will need to have Microsoft ACCESS on your computer in order to run the HMS Research Database. However, you do not need to be familiar with Microsoft ACCESS in order to be able to use the database.

In the HMS Research Database you can search for information by Species, Keywords, Author, Abstract, Gear Type, Title, Subject Category, and Tech Memo and/or Grant Number. The database provides article abstract and citation information (if available), but does not contain the actual articles themselves. To download instructions on how to operate the HMS Research Database click the button below.

If you have any problems, questions, or updates please contact Jackie Wilson of the Highly Migratory Species Management Division, Office of Sustainable Fisheries at Jackie.Wilson@noaa.gov or 240-338-3936
