SWORDFISH IMPORT MONITORING PROGRAM

In order to implement recommendations of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), NOAA Fisheries has banned the import of undersized Atlantic swordfish, extended dealer permitting and reporting requirements to swordfish importers, and implemented a swordfish import tracking program.
