Fishery Closure in Federal Waters


Gulf Oil Spill: Fisheries Information: For current information on the federal fishery closure and other information regarding the BP Oil Spill, please go to the Southeast Regional Office website. This website is updated daily at approximately 12 noon EST (11 CT) with a "No Change" message or a revised closed area map that would go into effect at 6 PM EST (5 PM CT) that day.

For the map of the current oil spill closure area, and to access daily updates concerning the fishery closures due to the BP oil spill, please go to the NMFS Southeast Regional Office webpage at:
