HMS SAFE Reports
NOAA Fisheries produces an annual Stock Assessment and Fisheries Evaluation (SAFE) Report that reviews the current status of Atlantic HMS fish stocks (tunas, swordfish, billfish, and sharks) and describes the year’s accomplishments in managing Atlantic HMS. The reports—which are required under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act—provide the public with information on the latest developments in Atlantic HMS management.
Past reports are available on the SAFE Report Archive page.
