NOAA Fisheries Announces the Availability of Online Maps for Draft Amendment 10 Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) Boundaries and Preferred Habitat Area of Particular Concern (HAPC) Alternatives

NOAA Fisheries announces the availability of seven web mapping applications available through NOAA’s ArcGIS Online GeoPlatform.  These web mapping applications provide an interactive view of proposed updates to EFH boundaries and current HAPCs and potential new HAPCs in Draft Amendment 10 to the 2006 Consolidated Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan.  The online mapping applications are organized by management unit as listed below:

Management Unit URL
Small Coastal / Smoothhound Sharks
Atlantic Tunas
Prohibited Sharks
Pelagic Sharks
Large Coastal Sharks
Billfish and Swordfish
Habitat Areas of Particular Concern (preferred alternatives)
