Summit Overview

The 2014 Saltwater Recreational Fishing Summit brings together more than 100 members of the saltwater fishing community, our partners, and NOAA leadership to reflect on past progress, identify current challenges, and collaborate on solutions.

This year’s Summit may be different than other meetings you have attended. While there will be a few level-setting informational presentations, the majority of time will be spent in group and roundtable discussions. We will also take advantage of the latest technology to gather everyone’s individual feedback in real-time.

We have hired MAKERS, an independent facilitation team, to design and facilitate these conversations. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas and opinions while also listening and learning from peers. MAKERS will ensure that all perspectives are heard and our discussions are focused and productive.
